Obituary

It is with great dismay and sadness that we learned of the untimely and sudden passing of Prof. Dr. Gerald Spindler, initiator and co-founder of our online journal JIPITEC, at only 62. We are eternally indebted to his tireless commitment to JIPITEC, to his constant efforts in the promotion, coordination and generous support of the journal through his Chair at the Georg-August Universität in Göttingen. The international legal community will miss his immense knowledge and contribution in the broad areas of information technology and commerce law.
